Immersively place active, dangerous beehives and collect honey & beeswax

Hi all. I'm proud to introduce something we've been working on for weeks: Advanced Beekeeping.

I wanted to do a beekeeping mod for a year. But with no damage mechanics in the game, it wouldn't really feel "alive." The game's 6.3 update changed all that. Bee stings hurt! This work is a major collaboration with shad and Maxwell, whose Brewing Mod is now able to produce mead as well! (You can also now use beeswax to make brighter, healthier chandeliers in my Immersive Furnishings Mod and candles in my Containers & Accessories Mod.)

This mod lets you find wild queen bees, craft & place working beehives (which sting you when you get close), and insert the queen bee to start crafting beeswax & honey. In keeping with Medieval realism, to get at the honey & beeswax, you must destroy the hive with a weapon and collect the loot.

Also, after getting stung a few times with your first hive, you will learn the trick to making a "Bee Smoker" torch that will protect you from then on!

The mod comes with its own custom quest, which leads you through the steps. Basically:

1: Find a queen bee when collecting wild mushrooms (a 1 in 10 chance)
2: Craft a hive with sticks & wheat stalks.
3: Place the hive IN OR NEAR A MEADOW. *
4: With the queen bee in your inventory, look at the hive &
press F to deposit the queen and start the crafting. **
(Careful, the hive will instantly start stinging you, step back!)
5: After 30 minutes, the hive will turn "ripe" and gooey.
Attack it with a weapon to destroy it.
6: Collect the ripe hive, honey, and beeswax!

We hope you enjoy the immersion of these true-to-life, working, dangerous beehives. And the Bee Smoker, which will keep you safe. Look forward to other mods that will take advantage of both the wax and the honey. Honey is a tasty food & will be great for mead. Wax could be great for preserving weapons & tools, making cleaner, brighter candle flames, and many other things to come.

KNOWN ISSUES:
(1) "Bee Smoker" smoke may not show up in 1st person view. Does work in 3rd person.
(2) Crafting may finish immediately if you log out & back on. This is a vanilla bug.
(3) Bee buzz sound won't work if you log out & back on. This is a vanilla bug with all sounds.

Well the conflict with the Mechanical mining drills was fixed but seems since the update that a new problem has poped up all is normal but the hives vanish when placed wether placed on correct grass or on timbers cant be totally sure that it is not a world issue as we just started using Thales Planet Earth on ME World Vikings US but we kept the same mod list exactly as the previous vanilla world and Beekeeping was working fine not sure what the conflict might be releated too as I have tried to place hives in MM but still not placeing hope to get this working if some one can look at it I can also check and upload logs if they may be of help need my meed LOL

Hello to anyone having crashes!
When trying to place the beehive I might have found the conflicting issue. If you are like me and have over 90 mods installed it's troublesome to find conflicts, so that's why I have went through most of the popularly used mods myself and found that if you have (Mechanical Mining Drill)
installed with the (Advanced Beekeeping [0.7]) they will conflict and cause this crash.

I know this may not be the solution for everyone but I hope this may help some of you.

As I said before, this mod is working just fine on my server (The Last Bastion) for ages now and never had any issues.
I can have a look at your logs, if you want to, but I suspect this is due to a mod conflict, so please see first if you have corrupted mod files and re-download the mod. Also, try to test the mod by itself without other mods active on the server and add mods one at a time, to see if there's a potential conflict.
