Hi all!

As promised, my Immersive Furnishings mod. I've been looking at things that I still would love to see in the game, and looking at the visuals of other Medieval games, and I decided to put together a modpack that would help fill in some gaps.

***************************************************
Donations always appreciated. Modding -- & maintaining mods -- is hard work!

This modpack creates a whole variety of items for interior & exterior, for high-class and humble:

-- Lordly Throne -- Noble chair; uses banner system to repaint itself in your personal banner's colors
(You can sit in the Throne now!)
-- ^^^ Iron Chandelier -- This aged, wrought-iron chandelier holds 6 candles -- can connect with rope!
-- Hearth Fire -- Warm, large, stone-lined fire pit perfect for mead halls and feasts
-- Large Bench -- Designed to fit the large dining table both in size & in style
-- Small Bench -- Designed to fit the simple table both in size & in style
-- Rope Bed -- Used like a vanilla bed. Can also lie down in it
-- Pillow/Cushion -- Place this pillow on any flat surface, and then press F to sit on it
-- Firewood Pile -- Decorative firewood. Right-click with hammer to deconstruct into burnable sticks
-- Sliding Shutter -- An alternate way to keep out wind, light, & attackers (Animated)
-- Sliding Shutter 2 -- 2 sliding shutters (right & left) for a balanced, centered look (Animated)
-- Copper Cauldron -- By itself, it is a decorative piece. But it can be used to build the tripod bonfire
-- Tripod Bonfire -- A tripod of sticks & copper cauldron used for cooking. Includes 3 new recipes
-- Half-Barrel Bucket -- Typical wooden tub for washing/hauling, with optional "water" effect
-- Log Bench -- Rustic bench for humbler homes or camp life
-- Stump Stool -- The most basic way to keep your backside off the ground
-- Log Block -- Turns the log into a placeable block you can use for decoration & ambience
-- Large Hide Stretcher -- Shows a hair-on deer hide being stretched and dried
-- Small Hide Stretcher -- Shows a dehaired rawhide being stretched and dried

^^^ -- Note the Chandelier also has a Beeswax version that requires the Advanced Beekeeping mod (or any mod with an item tagged "Beeswax"). It lets you create a brighter, cleaner-burning chandelier that gives you a slow Vigor Gain from the pleasant scent of honey.

As I get more inspiration, I will add more to this list.

I went into this trying to make everything from vanilla, in-game textures as much as possible, and modeled the elements to feel right at home with the basic game-world. These are all items that I think the game has needed for a long time to really help flesh out the worlds.

I hope you enjoy them! If you have any suggestions of things you'd like to see in this mod, please ask.

Haven't done much with this yet, but i ran into inconveniences trying to place Shutter 2:
1) The actual shutter is placed 1 small block away from the placement focus, making it hard to use them as murderhole covers when next to stone walls.
2) removing them requires hitting a very small, non-indicated point on or near them (managed to do it, but it did always include a lot of random clicking)

Hah thanks for the vote of confidence! My computer doesn't play 0.7 well at all. There's something wrong with the multi-threading that the devs didn't have a chance to fix before they were all laid off or moved to SE. So sadly these mods are probably at their end of what I'll be doing with them.

Hearth fire was broken (like so many things) when they updated to 0.7. They changed the way some of the particle parameters worked, broke others, and didn't document anything. So there was no way to get it right again. One of my many annoyances with 0.7. Not likely to get fixed now either, I'm sorry to say. (If you use my Bonfire mod, it's the same thing -- what used to be a pretty great flame effect is now just weird puffs of light. It's sad.)

Hearth fire seems off and doesn't look like flame. Otherwise the res of the mod looks great.

Hi Elsass. Yes, sadly when they came out with the 0.7 update they broke many things. One of those was the way the paintings could shift and cycle through different variants. Now that the game seems abandoned, I doubt it will ever be working right again.

Hello,
they paintings don't seem to be active, I cannot see them in the item list (playing on ME.eu). Other accessories work well though :)

Ah, that makes sense. It's fine. That's completely understandable. If a bunch of code. (I guess, I don't code. lol) changes and stuff I can see how things could break. I was just like, I see all this fancy furniture on the page, where is it all? Am I doing something wrong? lol It's perfectly fine. What I saw is nice. Also, I don't know if it's the game or user error, but shutters go crazy if they don't attach to windows. They like, vibrate all over the place and break. Not nitpicking or anything, just thought you'd like to know. Once again, if it's a game thing, what can ya do? Keep up the good work, though.

Hi JimBim. It’s not you, it’s me! Well, it’s the game. With the big 0.7 update a lot of things got broken and I have slowly been trying to put them back in. Working seats are my next one. Hopefully within the week.
