1) The actual shutter is placed 1 small block away from the placement focus, making it hard to use them as murderhole covers when next to stone walls.
2) removing them requires hitting a very small, non-indicated point on or near them (managed to do it, but it did always include a lot of random clicking)
they paintings don't seem to be active, I cannot see them in the item list (playing on ME.eu). Other accessories work well though :)
It would be very useful for building firewood stockpiles (I wanted to build a sort of shelves from planks or timbers to stack the firewood to the hight).
Or a rectangular variant of the block that could be stacked up would be great (allowing build a pyramid/wall of firewood for winter).
to like very different things.
Is this a game block problem?
I just tested out the signal fire and I think the damage is fine. Might use it as barbarian repellent! :)
Interestingly... I placed it on the ground, not on an existing block and the game placed it on its side. Fire still went up vertically as expected. I was able to pick it up and then rotate it and replace it on the ground correctly. Probably the game orienting it to a timber or plank somewhere.
Also, I like the idea of local damage like you added to the bonfire/signal fire mod. What do you think about adding it to the hearth fire in this mod?
