Trouble to get my mod running
Well, it seems that something is broken in my UGC and it's hard to discover where it comes from. After my last modifications, so said one player : " I got further this time and was able to read the loading screen about the fortune teller, then it hung up right after it said "autosaved" in the lower right corner."

It is strange, so far as i can play my story from the local content packs.

Debug tools seems to show the same 2 error messages whatever the scene :

W!* LOAD [WARN] SaveManager : Invalid current saveblock. could not get equipement stash
(comes in yellow typing)

*E* EXCEPTION : NullReferenceException : object reference is not set to an instance of an object
(comes in red typing)

Then, on many scenes i have the same messages with the console debug tool :

>> LOAD [WARN] SavaManager : Invalid current saveblock. could not get equipment stash
>> LOAD [WARN] SavaManager : Invalid current saveblock. could not get nuyen
>> LOAD [WARN] SavaManager : Invalid current saveblock. could not remove nuyen
>> LOAD [WARN] SavaManager : Invalid current saveblock. could not get nuyen
>>WORLD [WARN] CheckCombatState : Active Camera Region is nonexistant

+ on same occasions :

Found content pack 5 (a series of letters and numbers) but it was not the exact version (want 1.3 have 1.4)

I can't understand why the stash can't be accessed. I have camera regions in each map, but on several occasions i have multi camera regions in one scene...

I would appreciate some help to understand what is wrong in my beloved Buzz...

Those two messages are really artifacts of testing...I see them all the time. Especially the savemanager messages, that will happen when you are just testing a scene and the character doesn't have a save game with him (which is normal).

Active Camera regions errors are normal too, you can ignore that for sure.

If it's not starting after a load, in my experience:

1) There's a loop not ending (missing an IF statement getting triggered)
2) Something wrong with the PC 0-3 spawners (missing, or not sitting on a tile so the player immediately dies).
3) Problem with a character model, either it's not set in the NPC properties or the file is missing from the players content pack.
4) Propblem with a prop being referrenced that can't be found in the players content pack

This could be a hard one, good luck.

Is only the loading scene affected or can it be anywhere in the module ?

Just for that scene only. Whatever scene the loading screen is from.

Go thru your content pack folders, specifically the ART and ITEM ones you had to add for custom content. For art check both the prop and the .png file directories.

Make sure nothing you are not using is in there (tattoo stuff from your posting, make sure it's all gone).

Make sure no NPCs have in inventory the custom equipment you are not using. Whether equipped or as shop inventory.

Make sure non of the props or items are in bytes format (cooked) in your UGC content folder...that only happens when published.

If you used a prop in the UGC scene and then removed it from a folder but left the reference in the scene it will cause the freeze. Items can do that too.

Worst case add EVERYTHING from the other packs into yours uncooked, backing up the original content folder first! Or double check the folder heirarchy in your pack and make sure no extra folders are in the DATA directory or a sub-directory. A folder in the wrong place or an extra level deep can cause issues.

If you want I can describe how I added other peoples content packs to mine directly to avoid dependencies (if you do this method, do NOT list the content pack as a dependency in your UGC!)

And once you put something in, don't take it out! Because of problems like this being so hard to chase down. Just don't reference it, and leave it in.

I've been having the freeze up problem with fredingue's adventure myself. I freeze up when loading the screen that talks about having my fortune read.
I went ahead and subscribed to each and every asset pack available just to be sure I have the ones used covered.
I still freeze up.
