Are there any mods that make my idiot NPC crew return the diving suits to their storage instead of dropping them on the floor so I can't find any next time the sub floods?
Title.

I've never needed a mod for this, my bots put their diving suits back in the lockers by themselves most of the time. You could have one bot on tidy-up duty, they will tidy away any items that are on the floor (which includes the contents of crates if they are on the floor, so if you don't want them to do that then mark the crate as 'ignore' using the shift-command bot menu).

Well they never return diving suits. They grab them for one tiny leak and immediately drop them the moment they don't need them anymore which leads me to later swim up to the cabinet in growing pressure only to find there's no suits in there and I have no idea where they are and no time to locate any on the floor.

Consider it a learning experience then. Have a diving suit by your feet at the helm (or wherever you normally stand), mark it as 'Ignore'. That diving suit will remain there for when you need it. You could also mark one of the diving suit lockers in the same way, then the bots wouldn't use it.
