EHOF on Gigastructural Engineering not working

I've been playing Gigastructural engineering and have tried the EHOF origin, but the button does not seem to want to show up. I have the UIOD mod and have messed with the load order, tried different starting options, and gone two hundred years with two systems to see if I can get it to show up. But I am just not getting anywhere lol. Does anyone have any idea of what may be wrong?

I think ever since the 4.0 version, the structure has been soft disabled.
from my limited understanding, it's mostly because there's been plans to redo the crisis associated with it for a while, not to mention the changes in coding since 4.0 might have made the structure itself unstable.

Did you grab the compatability patch? If not, there's a handful of things that won't work because the bottom of the UI broke.

Ah I have the UIOD patch I saw others posting about. I will get this as well and see if that fixes it.
