I've already implemented some for the French and Americans, including portaits and logos.
The only thing that is missing (big thing) are models (which I am working on).
All LMGs (I call them support comapnies) have different stats to simulate different machine guns.
I will make my mod available manually as well in the OvertheTop forum thread to help other players how to mod (for examples).
My Plan is (in the works), to give the Madsen to the bavarians and make them more agile.
This is not historical, but I think giving a different playstyle to the different corps is a good mechanic decision from the developers and I'd like to keep it.
Im having an issue, I got some machine gun models, but in order to save time, I want to pin them directly to the game infantry models (instead of creating my own), the issue is, blender cant open alo files.
I got an old EAW plugin to import them to blender, but got stuck there.
Did you get to import ALO models to blender?
I totally agree, and love how different units have different (if arcadey) bonuses. Makes me much more attached to my units. Like "No! I cant use all my Jaegers before I attack that trench w/all the MGs". infact id like to break down the normal/elite infantry down into further groups with different bonsues.
