I agree. That would add a lot of game time to it and self investment.

and you would have a population that you cant control the growth of (which would be cool), unless you can control breeding rules, - plus more people draining food and air and power, but not giving anything back - until they become adults. I love it!

Somewhere I saw here on the forum that some of the programmers, considering the game code, found there the opportunity to create children. It seems that the authors of the game initially intended to do this, but then abandoned this idea.

different types of schools

A working school trains babies to be workers
An organic chemistry school trains babies to be biologists
An engineering school trains babies to be engineers
A medical school trains babies to be medics
A military school trains babies to be gaurds
They can choose which one to go to but will have to be in it for 20 days to become their specialization.
