I hate the standard maps. There are only resources located immediately around the player's starting positions. This leads to crappy gameplay, because there are no gold mines, etc. to fight over scattered around the rest of the map.

Normally, I'd just find or create a custom map to play multiplayer. Apparently this is impossible? Help!!!!
