Hard to conquer settlements!
Is it just me or is it hard to conquer settlements? I'll destroy 6 armies and then try to siege their settlement. But those 6 destroyed armies show up seconds later at full strength to help the sieged settlement! A settlement that should take a minute to conquer in siege mode now takes 20 mins of annoying back and forth combat due to the additional 5 armies that shouldn't be there in the first place. I have max armies (due to creating a faction) and max heroes but it's still a pain.

Does anyone have any tips to counter this? I'm trying to conquer the dakn.

you need to bring along companion reinforcement armies. That's how I conquered the Ifrit.

1. conquer a city, assign a hero to be sultan.

2. wait for them to build up their army.

3. talk to them and ask them to follow you into battle.

4. repeat until you have sufficient troops to win a siege all at once.

It's right at impossible to capture a settlement, especially if you aren't the sultan. Yes, they have invented telepathy in this game, much faster than even modern radar technology, because as soon as you start a siege EVERYONE of that faction knows about it. Also because it takes 4 or 5 days to siege a little nothing town, you are always met with that factions full force. It's honestly ridiculous and either needs a "I'm reallistically clueless mod" or a it takes 4 hours (in game) to raid a small village.

Did you fill out all relevant Talents in the talent tree (to get 7 heroes and 19 units) ?
Are you using siege weapons such as Bombards or Ballistas ?
Are you using high tiered fully leveled units with gems ?
Are you using a variety of units such as tanks, healers, ranged etc ?
