Yes, it is. When making a mod you can edit the carinfo.cca files and change the camera positions. It would take a bit as you can edit the values directly in the game and you're going to reload the assets to see the changes, but you yeah you can specify your own camera positions for each car

Alright, awesome. I did manage to find the camera settings before this post so I at least know where it is. But which is the standard close chase camera though? Not very sure of the name.

this is a static camera. she is useless.

Chase far and chase near are hardcoded into the game, if you want to make your own camera you should work with the other ones

Ohh okay, so I will basically have to overwrite one of the other camera modes then. That's no problem. I will mess with it and eventually do it to all Crashday vehicles and some other custom cars if I can get permission to upload a camera mod for imported vehicles by other modders. It's going to look a lot nicer without the tall camera hight.
