Not seen any topics on this, so am wondering if anyone else has had any issues with map scale for custom designs?

My own current issue is with a custom starbase that in the galaxy map, it is not only taking up its own hex, but a third of all surrounding hex tiles as well.

I have tried setting objects well beyond the outer limits of the design, but nothing seems to reduce its map scale.

any ideas?
