Probably the most useful are the fan-made adventures, many of which are excellent and provide almost endless hours of gameplay. Here's a reasonably objective guide to finding the best.

Everyone has an opinion on their favourite gameplay mods, but I couldn't honestly say that any of them are "must have". The only one I have myself is Custom Menus (Woods)[neverwintervault.org] because they make the whole game feel better to me, but obviously that's subjective.

As for the rest, you really have to ask "do I really understand why this mod will make the game more fun?". If the answer is "no", don't bother.

Very good question. The modules are very important! Unfortunatelly I don't have the names you desire. I would look for the most popular modules tag here on the Workshop. Probably I would be more interessed trying this:

Ugh I used to know the names of soooo many awesome adventures you could download off the vault. Now I can't remember a single one.... I need to go hunting for some of them soon, lots of really good ones out there.
