Workshop, workshop etiquette and complaints

Greetings!

If you use Steam Workshop you should respect the intellectual property rights of others.

We strongly ask to check with the authors of the content you want to upload before posting items on the Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition section of the Workshop. To distribute stuff created by someone you have to get the author's permission.

If you feel someone's work has been reproduced in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please, contact us first: via a PM to https://forums.beamdog.com/profile/JuliusBorisov or a PM to @Julius#0508 on Discord.

We will try to moderate the dispute considering all the parties involved and contact them directly to address the complaint.

In serious cases content owners should submit a claim of copyright infringement according to this procedure: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/dmca/create/ . Take note that submitting such a claim is a serious legal matter.

I understand now. You can post worlds/stories, but posting 75 short comments in a row (in 2 days) is basically spam. Why not combine them in several messages?

Don't know where to post this, after 4 hours of playing NNEE I tried to save the game giving it a name, clicked on save and the game closed and returned to the steam screen "library". This is the nth time. I tried to save over the auto save and it was erased. Start from scratch? The beamdog engineers programmed this? Anyone there at steam that can answer?

I apologize for uploading the lord of terror module without permission, so what should I do to get permission. I checked Tolitz's website but it appears they don't own the domain anymore and I cannot find any other way to contact them for permission.

If can't reach out to the author, then after you publish something on the Steam Workshop there's a risk this author will ask to take the mod down in the future.

There is no excuse for taking somebody else's work and uploading it WITHOUT permission.
And to be honest I can't believe beamdog doesn't take a strong stand against it.

If something is available at the neverwintervault there is no reason to upload it to steam unless you are the author and want to make it easier for steam users to access YOUR creations.
