Thanks.
allright. ill give tech support a looksee later after work, then. thanks for the assistance ^^
If the normal alien vision glow isn't showing up either it sounds like a problem with the renderer, not my mod. You may want to try posting over at the tech support forums http://forums.unknownworlds.com/categories/technical-support
also currently in GL, since the game stutters in DX9 or 11 modes after the last patch, if that has any impact. the 'obnoxious orange' vision DOES work with the mod disabled, however the 'constant glow' sposedly in place in normal view was not prior as well as post reinstallation.
i liked old alien vision. i honestly cant tell marines from the background before im dead without the extreme color contrast x_x;
The reason you'd use this is that the original alien vision makes NS2 look graphically worse than NS1; it's that bad. Lots of shimering along tiny cracks and alpha tested textures, everything looks faceted, polygonal and puke green.
This is a wallhack for you? you never used the aura sight dont you ... THATS a wallhack (and it only counters the Observatory or ping from marines so THEIR the wallhackers :)
...
Ok now that i have got your attention i wanna tell you that: if you think it is like a hack too, then just press F while being alien and you will see how retarded your statement really is.
i mean srsly why would you compare it to a hack if you knew that allready ?
Outside of parts of Descent, this is just a comestic change for aliens. Alien vision is terrible when there is glass all over.
