it's a small world

My game, with max Civs and max City States, Marathon, always crashes. Usually around turn 25 and on reload at exactly the same spot during the other civs' turn.
Is this a known error? Do I have to avoid certain civs? (I play America with only pre-modern civs as bots)

coastal tiles accurate too? satisfactory

great map but i have 2 issues, 1 Antarctica is way to big, and 2 the lack of resources is a problem

ok so this mod would be epic if you would make at least one of the mountains a hill in between AZ and CA, also between CA and Nevada, also between to Colorado, like seriously you should realize that you made it so that if im in AZ i now have to drive just under if not over 2k miles just to get to LA when in real life its only 3 to 400 miles away. what were you thinking??? that ruins trying to play in america. please change that and this mod would be epic.

hey question, how were you able to create a map of this scale without the game crashing or freezing? i really would like to know because i really want to make one for myself.

I scoured the map of iron, aluminium, or oil. Those resources just don't exist, or they exist in such small quantities that it throws the balance of the game out. Unsubscribed.

Is someone making or does someone know where to DL a TSL Earth map TSL which is somewhat smaller? Like Standard at most, or even smaller. NOT a Werner projection of course... With Europe, Middle East, Japan, Korea being much larger than they should be, Greenland, Africa, Americas, Australia smaller instead.

This is accurate as a map format, but in real life the world does not look like this. There is a good youtube video explaining the effect. just search "maps not accurate" and you will find it. I think this is a really good map though.

1st accuracy mmh not realy some regions are way too small (europe at all) and some look like too large in relation to others (russia/sibiria)
2nd maybe its my fault but marathon? really???
3rd is it normal that all victorys are disabled?

The most accurate flat map is the Waterman Projection system look it up.

@Krisis Yeaaah, no. Sweden is around 450 thousan KM squared and France is around 650 thousand. In this map though, Sweden is more than twice the size of France. The earth isn't flat, so that's why the top sides stretch on maps.

Is there a way to play this not on Marathon? Ain't nobody got time for that

@Honey Badger - Don't be a douche. The map is accurate as in compared to other continents Europe is very, very tiny. Therefore, it's exactly what it says on the tin.

In case you have the eerie feeling Europe is depicted too tiny for your taste, then you're actually fooled by maps you've been shown in the past. Most atlas and poster maps scale continents to allow for more detail within.

You should list the 19 civs.

About the start locations; I did as instructed above - subscribed, loaded mod, chose map, loaded scenario - but civ's did not have true starting locations. Paris was in British Columbia, Tyre in the Florida panhandle, and Vatican City on the Northern Coast of Canada. And playing as America, the start was in New Brunswick, Canada, far from D.C. This was with no other mods running on a fresh install of civ5. The map looks great and I'd like to use and endorse it, please let us know when the start locations are fixed!

A lot of map projections depict Europe as much larger than it really is, when in reality the UK is about as big as, like, Minnesota. This is the most accurate I've seen.

People complaining about UK, while at the same time they are too shit to make it themselves...

GB is too small to be represented accurately or have place for a 2nd city. Poland, for example, is slightly bigger in real life, and too has a place for only one city
