its most likely because you have already subscribe to too many maps!

it appears steam workshop has a limit of just under 40 things you can subscribe to for this game

and once you hit that limit it still lets you subscribe to more, but it just doesn't download them, not warning no error

sucks. the only way around it is to unsubscribe to a bunch of other maps until you have subscribed to around 35 and then try resubscribing to this one and finally restart the game and it should download

sucks dont it, at least they give you a warning

what sucks even more is they have a 9 file limit for authors so i can't release anymore maps without first deleting some of my existing ones!

so no more maps from me :(

good question

notice that the play area of all my arena maps are flat

that is because some of the mini boss mobs like the goblin mech mini boss have issues navigating nonflat surfaces

also the crystaline dimension terrains are all inverted floating rocks with flat surfaces

all the other stuff you see that is not flat are added one or bridges between the flat rocks and i guess they put stuff sticking out or around the flat rocks to hide the fact
