this works with repentance, only problem is that the chargebar doesnt appear. I think that's just an afterbirth mod thing though

I would like to thank S-Body for helping me solve one of this mod's bugs. Whilst the solution wasn't exactly what they suggested it was damn close

S-Body that may work, I'll have to try.

wk I thought about doing that, but it means that at the point where the 2 beams are in the same location they will do double damage, since both are attacking the enemies, as well as the fact that the animation will not flawlessly transition between the 2 beams. It may be a temporary fix, but I'll have to change it eventually.

i dont really know stuff about coding, but try finding the image of the middle of the beam, and make it so when it fires, you put another beam on the end, but made entirely of the middle part.
I have no clue if that'll work but trying to help

For the beam looking down at the 1st frame, you could try to spawn the beam offscreen, and then on the 2nd frame when it's looking at the correct direction, set it on the familiar position.
