It's set to $additive so darker colours are less bright, with black being fully transparent. So it just looks like the flashlight is turned off. Like dis. [gyazo.com]

I'm working on it, but I'm starting from scratch to get it gold star certified. Also the importer doesn't allow the self-illumination technique I was using, so I might have to request that feature or take another approach.
