Yes, I just double checked. I clicked Picard and SIsko to set them up. Their players areas loaded fine except the missing play mats.

Thanks. I'll look again. When I clicked the captain to choose them, it loaded everything but he play mat. I'll look for the tutorial :)

I'll have a look when I get home from work... should be fine... they should spawn as you set up the game.. not before. See the youtube tutorial.

Hello! I have downloaded your backup on Nexus Mods and the images for the object meshes for the Player Mats are nowhere to be found in the backup. The mod still refers to Google Drive links, which you said in your description on Nexus, that have expired. Any chance of getting those player mat images in the Steam Cloud so the player setups will still work? Thank you!

• FIXED : All asset links should now be working!!

Ok... so, as some of you may know my mods have been broken for a long time as google drive moves files to trash when they are not being accessed regularly, then as you upload new files, these trash files are automatically deleted. This led to almost all my mods being broken with 1000s of dead links across them. I was so upset that I basically quit TTS modding for nearly a year, but recently I have been going though my old mods and fixing them

To that end, I believe I have completely fixed this mod and now have it fully hosted on SteamCloud, and therefore should not have any future dead links of any kind as long as steam is maintaining its archive.

I have also have the mod backed up now on TableTopSimulator Nexus.

If you find any errors still, please let me know...

I do not know about a quick save.. but you can just hit the GAME button and hit SAVE and then press CREATE button to make a new save, or you can overwrite an existing one.

Sorry for this question. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to save the game. It auto-saves from time to time, but is there a way to quick save?

HOTFIX - 09 - 07 - 2019
FIXED • A 3rd party mod from the workshop I used for the mana crystals developed broken links. I have updated the mod for the missing files to be found on my GDrive. As long as Google provides the drive, the files should now be live.

Q : I still have errors!
A : As the files are identically named you may need to force TTS to redownload all the images again to make sure you have the correct links. In TTS go to "MENU / CONFIGURATION / UNTICK MOD CACHING" then reload the mod. Everything should work now. (Do not forget to re-enable this!) Alternatively you can use TTSMODBACKUP app and click on the mod and select "delete all local files" and then click the download button.

Thanks for doing this. I have the game, but I've got young kids and can't trust leaving it set up in between rounds, and there's no way I have time to finish a game in one sitting. I have to take pictures, tear it down, and then set up again when I have time to play. Your mod is perfect for me. Have you given any thought to the return of Khan expansion?

I disabled MOD CACHING, but it does the same thing. It looks like it's trying to open a file on google drive. I also noticed that all the links in the "Thanks go out to" section above have been moved. Is there a way you can make local versions, or is it too much trouble?

Hmm... I'll have a look when I get home from work. For now.. go into OPTIONS and turn off MOD CACHING to force the mod to re-download all the content. The Mana Tokens were made using the "currency mod" so if that mod is broken it might break mine.. I am not sure if I made local versions or not.

I'm having an issue loading images. It says "load image failed unsupported format". I can cancel out of it. When I try to move the data crystals/tokens it gives me the same error as well. Any ideas how to fix this?

This is so super cool how you can get this game into a TTS version. I have the physical game, which I love physically handling. But this is great if I want to travel somewhere and can't lug the box with me.

Yes I finally figured it out by looking at your models in TTS actually. Realized by copy/pasting the collision object from the warbird to one of my one models it would work. So knowing that I went into Blender and made them specific to my own models that would achieve the effect.

Just load my models up in your 3d app and see how it is done... remember I also use a separate collision object. If you still have question after that let me know.

omg I have literally spent DAYS in Blender and YouTube trying to figure out how to get custom models to "float" above the board the way your ships do. I am a total novice in Blender, but figured out enough to convert pre-existing .stl models in Blender and importing them into TTS. I just can't figure out the floating part to save my life.
