It appears that one must consume the item in order to hear the music, rather than placing/hiding it in the building or area one wants the music to be active in. I do hope one day the player functionality can be added, so that the range can be adjusted to allow the music to be heard when one is within a certain distance of the placed item. The dragon ball mod has a music player with 4 separate styles of music, rock, techno, OST and misc
the ludor park casino mod, has practically the same player but with some improvement, but in that mod it is content for premiums.
in both cases there is little western music

It is true this mod has neither sound configuration nor play / stop, my other music mods already have but this one stayed in the past, if one day I open the editor maybe add those functions, but frankly I no longer work much with mods from ark.

Hey, thanks for your work! Well, I think, those long songs are still containing different sub-songs, I would split them into conveniently short songs. And instead of one mod, create several smaller mods, one for the Egyptian theme, one for the Arabian theme, one for India, and one for the Spanish theme. Like your existing Far West mod contains only Old West music. This allows other potentially interested users to download just what they want, and also allows for a better naming of each mod - in the same manner like your Far West mod. The title says it all. :-D

@Hirnsausen: Here you have it, I didn't play the songs that lasted 3 hours because I think it's too much and it would make mod even weigh much more.
You will try it and tell me what you think.

@Hirnsausen: We are going to do one thing, if you make me a playlist of songs and I find it interesting, I will make a MOD player with those songs. but the list has to be of songs that can be obtained and not strange versions or songs that are not even in youtube.

Ennio Morricone did a lot of amazing soundtracks for movies, and still does. His compositions (you already use some of them) are great for those other mods.

Then you could also go more into the ethnic direction, one mod for each. Like Salsa, like Calypso, or Souk, Meringue, and so on.

I have one more request, but only if you don't feel uncomfortable about it. We're running the Water World server, and could need some parts. I don't know if you know how to design structures for Ark, but if you do, and if it is okay with you, I could send you some sketches and you could have a look to them and tell me your opinion. Some parts are fairly simple, like half-round cupolas for the top of buildings.

well I upload it to the server because it didn't download the mod from the id list automatically, it got all of them except that so I just put it manually and it still didn't work.

try to completely delete the folder 1540750139 within the MODS folder of the server and reload the mod from scratch, it is a very simple mod, it should not have anything to make it fail, as much by corrupting files. luck
