Best CADPAT in an Arma 3 mod, bar none. Perfect for operations on Tanoa.

Yeah, the Multicam units have nice gloves, as they are using custom uniforms instead of re-textures, but the base game NATO gloves are based on Oakleys (just not branded) as well, just not as well-made as modded ones. The CADPAT uniforms themselves may be getting updated to have the same custom uniforms in the future though, but I can't give a date or confirm that or anything.

Good mod, Canada dosent get enough mods these days. A quick suggestion? If your able you should try to find a way to have the uniforms use oakley gloves opposed to the shitty arma 3 vanilla gloves, but if not thats okay. Thanks for the reskin.

No, I'll just swap it to a hat in the next update, it's fine. I also plan to add a new team of units, based on some pics I have of CANSOF guys from Operation Flintlock 2016/2017, as well as eariler in 2016, some training exercises.

Yeah, it's just I don't have any Tan berets to use, nothing against you. I might go looking for some but I didn't consider it a major issue.

@GabrielD - You are correct. If they were to follow the current European trend they would likely pick up some HK416's or another similar rifle, or if they were to follow their American neighbours move towards more compact and lighter weight rifles like the Daniel Defence Mk18's.

This faction is 'set' in around the 2010-2017 era, based on some photographs and a contact 'cough' of mine who has worked with JTF-2 in late 2016. It is not set in 2035.

By 2035 in armaverse, JTF2 would have probably switched to something other than C7/C8/C9's. SPAR-16 series or MX series rifles in cadpat/olive would suit just as well, if not better, than old USA rifles.

Before anyone asks about having actual branded C7/ C8 / C9's in the mod, there is no longer any Canadian Armed forces mod around that has them that is not broken (CAF mod from 2013 no longer works in a stable form) so it's not currently possible.

I compromised in the mod by using OD Green furniture M4A1's and SAW/Minimi's.

FSSF was a predecessor, yes, but it dates all the way back to WW2. After WW2 the unit was disbanded, and the RCMP special units took up the same role, but as part of the police/civilian forces they were limited in some factors, so the force was moved and re-structured under Canada's Special Operations Regiment. JTF-2 in particular was formed right after the RCMP Special Unit's disbandment, but it has drawn from military units for members rather than Police.

No I have not- I knew it existed but don't know much about it- I would need to get the creators permission and such beforehand as well.

Jarrad, not asking you to actually do this, but have you thought of using the CRBN Mod's NATO full body suits as a base for the CRBN team?
