I love the arena style and those hexagon shaped tiles! Very Doomy.

That, and it kinda resembles a large Battlefield 4/Killzone city map.

This map needs AT LEAST one more spawning location. It's friggin' boring as of now. I'd recommend the elevator.

The map looks stunning and the Trivia bot is a nice little feature when you're buying weapons.
However I just find it a shame that the zeds only come from one way.
My team and I killed the zeds before they could really get to the platform and it got pretty boring until the boss wave.

Great presentation but the gameplay is pretty disappointing. Could benefit greatly from more spawn zones and an increased play area. It was pretty easy to keep zeds from crossing the bridge so my team never really got to see action on the main platform.

This is a real fun map. Simple in design but in the mid late waves you can have a good size crowd before you know it. You get a couple of bloats side by side and the crowd builds up behind them. They take so much damage that they're near the end of the bridge when you drop them and then the floodgates are opened. I have this running on the FaTaLCuRE server right now with a max enemy mutator. Great work!

Cool map, and suprisingly difficult on harder difficulties! The one-way bridge for zeds gave me the illusion this would be a cakewalk but later rounds can get really hard if you're not careful. I will admit though, I would love to see you expand on this map somehow, or make a different version of it!

Trivial complaint. The Trivia bot states that only swat grenades cannot harm you, medic grenades do the reverse; but otherwise a good map

I'll give it a shot. Just have to figure out how to load it on my pc. Support for Commodore 64 is pretty low but I'll figure it out.

Hmm..that was one part I'm not crazy about. My enjoyment of the map is from the layout. Pink tree lined white & gray walkway, mostly white main buildings- sunshine drawing more attention to these details and changing the mood, just not my thing. I mean no offense of course, ppl just like different things and I prefer less pink and darker maps, reguardless of the game, why?- part of it's style, aesthetic preferences, character, mood, and part of it's due to light sensitivity in my eyes. (I really like the cyberpunk map Sean did). Again, no offense to the modder, I tend to be freer with my thoughts when I've had this much caffeine in a day :D

Cheers everyone, I'm happy so many of you are enjoying it and want to thank you all for leaving comments! I wanna address a bunch of you directly, so minor wall of text incoming.

General note on the small map size is primarily because I started work on it as a break project from bigger maps. I always get to a point where, when working on large maps, I get exhausted working on the same thing. So one way for me to recharge a bit is to start a new map that I can finish within a week or two, instead of several months. Plus I enjoy playing these small "Zed shooting gallery" maps myself :)

@Scarbeus Thanks for a nother great video bro! Always appreciate your work and input - and I totally agree, the Bot needs either a toggle function or extended display times. I'll look into it!

@Storm_at_Sea: That's a really good idea, and wouldn't take too much work to do. I will absolutely consider it, either as an alternate version or, perhaps, as a random chance at map start or even a gradual transition over play time.

@Thabuki: Sadly the missing "Maps" tag is on Tripwire's end. This map is a great edition to the current crop of 'hillside' type corridor shooters. The bright tone of the visuals are a great contrast to killing floor's typically dark and grimy aesthetic and the details are great. I play hillside regularly but my only problem with it is that it's basically impossible to beat the boss on hell on earth for most classes because of the lack of cover and kiting room (which is essential for boss fights). The extra area in the back that isn't very defendable normally provides a great arena for taking on the boss.

While I was on this map this a.m., I thought, this would be cool as a night map too. Of course, there's 2 obvious ways (if you even entertain the thought)- a nice map, with the lamp posts lighting the narrow walkway and sporadic lit windows in the buildings etc., or a post apoc. type- with half the lamp lights shot out, blown out windows, etc.

So, ever thought of doing a nighttime version? If not, does it interest you? :summermoon:

I just came back to rate, and to make sure the map is 'meant' to be that small (I only skimmed the description when I dl'd it). There's nothing wrong with small maps, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a hidden area somewhere. It's a good map to get the patriarch before he heals being so small and little clutter. I almost had him, even with a low perk (I know there's lots of ways on the net to 'force' it so to speak, but I wanted to do it in more natural gameplay).:AK47Gun:
