Damn. You REALLY pulled this design off. I always liked these 'virtical' ship styles. Like the Myrmidon from EVE Online. This is very nice.

@Johnny All resources are on planets so you have to go down to them at some point. SV dogfights in space are completely worthless; if you have good SVs they can last indefinitely even against homing rockets so there is no point. CV vs CV happens pretty often in space but you don't get any territory out of it so it is completely skippable if you like, since you can warp away at any time assuming your warp drive doesn't get hit by a lagshot. Plus defending a position on a planet is infinitely cheaper than fortifying a position in space so there is every incentive to stay planet bound.

@Johnny : One of my Dreadnoughts are Space Focused, I have a full sketch to work with as well. It will take a while to build it though, but you'll have it someday :D

pvp is heading towards planets? Weird.... usually the best pvp servers stray from planets do to the bugs.... I would waste my time on space pvp hence the planet PVP is limited to one busy server.... just a thought :D

@infernaldragon5 : Yeah I know it isn't exactly sitting well with some people that it can't land on planets. But I will be working on Heavy Assault Hover Vessels soon, so I will be making CV's according to that, which just the idea of it makes me want to build it right now. However, I am working on a Heavy Assault Small Vessel currently, so the last idea will have to hold. Rest assured you will be seeing CV's that can land on Planets though!

Cool looking ship. Shame about it not being able to land on planets since the pvp meta is starting to shift towards largescale HV assaults on planets. I might be a madman, but I have designed similar ships that can land on their sides lol, so if you wanted it to be planet compatible you can try that out.

Also make sure you max out your turret and gun count for pvp CVs.

Interesting concept in the design. My only suggestion would be to try and improve your pitch/yaw/roll and thrust power, especially in straffing (left and right) in order to make it more manuverable in a fight. You already have a slim profile which will make it hard for your enemies to target you. Nice work.
