For those who would like to keep-up with my maps as they are made you can follow or send me a friend invite, just let me know you are from the game. Lowell Ford on facebook.
Thanks a ton for bringing this to my attention, I might just start placing the 2 must-have industries on the maps edges etc. in the future.
Those never show up in my game. I also cannot extend the game's draw distance or remove the distance fog...unless you are running some mod that removes the distance fog or extends the draw distance.
This seems to be another reason I should always place the 2-mandatory industries within the game-play area. I knew I should have placed them inside...plus the maps seem to load faster with the industries within the game area.

...hmm...I could try and use the 6k setting, that would really push them out LoL. I am using 1900x1080 as well with a 970 Nvidia card and EVGA motherboard. I wonder if anyone else can see those? I could just place 2 farms or coal-ore mines somewhere and that would end it as well. Let me think on this. If I add the 2-industries inside the game-play area, that might mess-up saved games.
I will set those new locations right away and upload the change for those...it shouldn't change any saved games as I can check mine after the edit...brb
