I know this is super old and hasn't been updated since the day it released but I really wish the flashlight was a part of this swep as well. Using the Gmod flashlight doesn't hit the same, lol.
(If I may add, if the flashlight WERE to ever be added, I think it'd be cool if it was coloured the same as the player's chosen weapon colour, rather than just the basic blue and golden ones.)

I agree. I see some people disappointed that it didn't spin in to a series because "it didn't need to be milked", but like, more games = more fun to be had imo

I kind of wish I did more with this, and I do agree that if the game were more popular, those things would exist by now.

For me, I guess I just wanted to create something simple with this SWEP

if this game was still popular today im sure someone wouldve implemented tattletail's needs and entities you'd spawn to act as the refrigerator, charger, etc, i still like using this cause its annoying and silly as it should be, the flashlight wouldve been sick

I have a suggestion, maybe add the flashlight that you have to shake to charge it up so tattletail doesn't say it's dark? And when you wold him long enough Mama appears perhaps from another addon you could make to go with this addon?

I'm happy you like this mod!
I just installed it myself and loaded it in both singleplayer & multiplayer, in Sandbox. It seems to function fine and I've gotten 0 lua errors.

Are you in some other gamemode? That could be possibly be a problem if there's conflicting code to handle world-model stuff. Feel free to share the console error so I can try to take a look. It's also possible you have a conflicting addon installed. If that's the case, I could possibly fix it if I can see what the problem is

I love this addon but Its lagging my game and its bothering my gameplay can you fix this? It said tattletail was creating problems

I remember struggling too, I think? Her mesh is made of multiple parts or something like that. Although she doesn't have a single animation, besides her nice form's "story", but maybe that's just lines of codes to rotate her head around. When she's angry, her head just looks at the closest player and she can't look up and down, no need for animation. Although her jumpscare has an animation, it ain't a gif.

I'm a little disappointed Tattletail didn't get some sort of followup; I think it still has potential, and could catch on if they expanded on the gameplay/lore. Isn't the premise kind of similar to Poppy Playtime?

I remember when I was initially developing this mod, I was really difficult find "complete" or faithful models of either Tattletail or Mama (as evidenced by the fact that this particular model is missing the poofy hair at the top).

I would've liked to rip the models/animations myself, but I also remember struggling with that. Oh well

If Tattletail was as popular as Bendy, FNaF or some triple A game then maybe, but people quickly forgot it existed. I'm surprised too.

Tbh Mama isn't so hard to make for any skilled developer. All she does is teleport around you to set spots (for gmod just make it random but not inside walls), she stares at you, if you're too close or make noises near her (but far enough so she doesn't kill you) it plays her stinger sound, another sound and then a random voice line, and that's about it.
