So if hooveric or anyone with better skills than me, wanted to take the time and just make a better looking
grn_orcs_torso_03_lods_diffuse.dds then add it to his file here, it would take care of the LOD problem

That's all that is needed to get it to work. :)

I found out how to fix the LOD texture loading problem that has been reported. Sadly, I am not skilled at making new looking ones to match what hooveric did. I've tried.
So while I can cover up the LOD, I sadly am not as skilled as hooveric is at making new ones that look good.

The main problem is this file. grn_orcs_torso_03_lods_diffuse.dds wasn't retextured then added into the mod files. It would go where all of the others go.

\variantmeshes\wh_variantmodels\hu2\grn\grn_orc_boyz\torso\tex

So when ever you zoom in or out, it's using the file from the main game folder.

yeah it's known issue. the reskin can't affect the LOD textures.

When far enough away for low-res textures to show, it seems to still use the vanilla colors. This re-skin is great, but when I pull away or look at a unit from afar, it is a bit immersion breaking to see those low-res red colors disappear as I pull close again. Is this for everyone, or am I having some conflict?

Just wanted to say that after this graphical mod, it is so much easier, for me, to tell (in order) which Orc unit is which, from: (Savage) Orc Boyz --> (Savage) Orc Boy Big Un's --> Black Orcs.

Some new skins for Trolls would be a nice touch for future update, I noticed the Trolls are still vanilla.

Hello, Dryrain, love Your mods :) I guess Beastmen are next, so i have an idea for You: Change Bestigors texture to Minotaurs (great weapons) texture (But keep Bestigors vanilla size).
That would look amazing :)

Use PFM and remove grn_black_orc and grn_night_goblin variantmeshdefinitions.

Could you do version without Black Orcs/night gobbas? I use other reskins for them and I have grown really accustomed to them.

토탈워에는 카메라가 멀어지면 유닛들의 텍스쳐 디테일이 떨어집니다.
최적화를 위해 일종의 저질 텍스쳐로 교체되는 것인데 이를 LOD라고 합니다.

즉 리스킨은 원본 텍스쳐를 수정할 뿐 LOD에 사용되는 텍스쳐는 따로 건드리지 않기 때문에
그 차이가 두드러져 보이는 것입니다.

I think it's a bug. I'll fix it asap.
You can see the axes in 1st screenshot.
Usually I don't modify lords and heroes for compatibility.

When i played yours i didn't saw axes for boyz :/
Also, on AS mod he gave the Warboss a big axe too, this is also to be considered.

I tried it when I made this mod. But I thought it was too classy for orcs.
So I added a new axe for boyz and big uns. (retextured savage orc axe)
but as I said, I'll consider that again.

They do match good, go look on AS mod, it fit well enough for the need of diversity (but if any other axe is available it's fine i guess, the important is that boyz should have some axes aside of the sword and spiky hammer)

Hi, thk for the mod. May i suggest you to look on AS3086 orc reskin for the weaponry? He added some beastmen axes to the orc boy'z, i think it should be great adding them on your mod too, it give boyz more diversity.
