Question you working on any new mods for xcom 2 ?

What else are you running? ( are you using arms and shoulders as individual parts? or whatever that mod is called?)

@Six I use it with WOTC, works perfectly.

Armor pack works fine. Some ('barrick') appear low res, but I just stick with the regular cog helmeted soldiers.

Is this compatible with WOTC ?

AML is still (and should be) the go to for modding even though the 2k launcher has been removed don't use the new built in mod launcher

This... works in WotC, still. I used one of this mod's customization options yesterday with Unrestricted Customization Redux.

Hopefully one day there will be a WOTC port

This works for wotc fine. Ran a few campaigns with it.

Your guy's best bet would be to wait for someone else to make a new version of the mod for WOTC.

This does work for war of the chosen just use the alternative mod launcher. This works for me and I have been having a fun campaign on LWOTC.

have been playing with this mod on vanilla, no crashes no corrupted saves, works perfectly.
and the hands look fine to me.

I'm not sure if the first solution works, the file will be overwritten after a while. So people would have to do it over and over again. (second dont know.)

Ignore the grammar. The mod works with the newest version of WOTC. How i got it to work:

-After you subscribe install and check it on go to your XCOM local files, more specific Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Config.

-Open the File DefaultModOptions

-At the bottom paste ActiveMods="GearsOfWarCOGPack" and its done.

One other thing i did and i am not sure if it works is i made a mod folder in Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame and pasted the Gears mod from Workshop (the number for the mod is 955890973). Thats it.

That's real nice that you got it workin' but I've spent a good amount of days on playtesting LWOTC with a whole lot of other mods which is already pretty much the peak of unstable and I am pushing this mod comp to its limits further and further every day.

I am afraid that downgrading the version of my very XCOM would fuck everything up immensely after having done so much work on it... and so I am not very thrilled about the idea.

Who knows. Maybe I'll give it a shot. If I do, I'll come back and report.

Just for anyone who also want this for WoTC and haven't abandoned hope yet this does work for WotC just not the latest version. You have to go to a previous version of the game to make it work. Problem is that steam doesn't allow you to go back. I found a alternative launcher that lets it work for this. https://github.com/X2CommunityCore/xcom2-launcher/releases download the first one v1.4.0 beta 2. Sorry for my grammar :)

This may be a stretch, but will we be seeing a WOTC version of this mod? i genuinely love this mod and all the work youve put into it, and seeing these models and armors in the cutscenes would most certainly look amazing!
