Yeah I can never go back to base BFE after using mods like this. The game can still be hard on serious too with this mod. So it doesn't remove the challenge completely.

Thanks! They probably make Serious difficulty a little easy if you're a pro, but even so, they are definitely damn satisfying to use now.

The Fusion edition of AWE is now considered feature-complete. Since the editor has finally come out for SS4, I'm currently looking at that right now and seeing if it needs rebalancing (so far, yes).

Any chance of improving how weapons feel when shooting? Shooting the minigun in ss4 is so much more satisfying than in previous games.

Just bought Serious Sam 4 since the editor is finally out. Will be playing it and seeing if it even needs a rebalance. If so, expect another AWE.

Could replace it with the M50 sound from Ballistic Weapons. The report there is a little bit lower and shorter.

Fantasic mod!, however just to give a heads up, Serious Sam Fusion update messed up on both of the AWE mods. Some levels couldn't load because of the Cannon Projecties is missing.

@PootularMayonnaise: Were you playing it online? Also, try disabling all mods except mine to make sure nothing is overwriting the sounds.

The mod works, but the only sound I hear changed is the Rocket Explode sounds.

Aha! Found it! I spent more than an hour looking for that, including multiple checks of the "hands" weapon, and yet somehow missed that one. Thanks a bunch! :)

@SCP-001 Overseer: There's an expanding category called Decapitator preferences or something. Can't remember the exact name for the category but it's very near the top of the config.

Alright, cool. I'll post my Classic suggestions on the TSE mod page, and the BFE ones here. Since there's a word limit, I'll do them one gun at a time. I'll tell you what I think you can improve to make your mod better, in my own opinion. Still, this is your mod, and you'll have the final say. It isn't my intention to step on any toes. :)

@SCP-001 Overseer: Sure, although there's nothing really to test right now. The weapon stats for both TSE and BFE are now all pretty much where I want them with a few very small exceptions. You can offer some suggestions anytime though.

Okay cool. I suspected as much, but I couldn't be sure. At least now we've tested the problem thoroughly. I really hope Croteam solves it soon, but they've probably got their hands full squashing problems in Fusion. In the meantime, I'll still be using your mods, but only for solo for now. And I'll be waiting with baited breath! :D

Could you do me a huge favour and announce in these comments or something if/when the problem is solved?

Tested it, and unfortunately, the problem persists. Even with nothing but your AWE BFE mod. One other issue I noticed, though. On the roof at the start of BFE, before picking up either the sledge or the secret shotgun, clients are unable to sprint either. Once a weapon is acquired, then sprinting works as it should.

Also, like the assault rifle, the shotgun also has reload sounds and reload animations, but neither for firing.

Alright. I made a change to the Pistol to see if my theory is correct. I just need somebody to start an MP game and see if the Pistol works. If it does, that means it's fixed and I'll rollout the full fix for all the weapons with the next update.

Having the very same problem as SCP-001 Overseer on multiplayer. Didn't test it as far as him but I do want to say that the BFE pistol that you get in the first level has no sound or animation on multiplayer. love the mod but can't play it with my friend whom i'm doing the campaign with :(.
