why is it the ten-legged terror? Both spiders and the robot-spider have eight legs. I get that it sounds nice but it's also wrong. Eight legged terror is also fine.

Only thing I'd suggest is to make the animation where he puts it on the ground a bit slower

i like DatScoot's idea. and maybe since the spider will be too far for the sp to pick up, it will just break when "returned" (like the way engineer buildings break)

1. Spy should look down at the spider
2. Dunno if it can work, but maybe the spider can walk on it's own without the spy behind constantly behind it? So the spider is still controlled by the player, except the spy isn't behind the spider all the time

Model needs some work, give it some hard edges, also lower the phong intensity. Animations good though
