is there any possibility of increasing number of national ideas (ones you unlock with investing in idea groups) ?
Just for custom nations that is.
When is the last time you used it?
In Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod the only thing in there should me ugc_947749925.mod
If there is any other folder [ie Uber Custom Nations] you should delete it and allow steam to re-download it
Paradox made this change a while back
The reason why is I would have to manually code every combination which would be insane.
The list would also become impossible to use since there's no search method.
Is there a mod that allows you to do the same?
They changed the format a while back, so if an old version got stuck there then you need to delete it and let the game grab the new one.
