My friend really liked the mod so I took the time to update the mod for the current version of Stellaris and fix some of the bugs. Since a lot of people are asking for an update I've decided to upload this to the workshop. If the original author would like me to take it down just DM me.

I wasn't aware of the issue with the Fallen Empires lacking colors and upon reading the comments here learned that it was from this mod. I do hope we'll see an update that can fix that as this is personally my favorite color mod to the game. The issue isn't game breaking but would be awesome to see fixed.

Are we likely to get an update of this mod? It's by far the best empire colours mod out there, in terms of providing a good set of colours without adding too many.

Can you please update? I dont know if it will fix the fallen empire not spawning with actual colors problem, but at least its worth a try.

That's really strange. I'll have to look through the files to figure out what's going on with fallen empires.

Yeah no, fallen empires don't get colors and there is some other weird stuff going on too, but I can't figure out why by looking at the file.

grate news guys. i tested it out and it turns out that this mod still works with the curent version of the game despite it being a 1.6.1 mod! it WILL work.

Well it does say it is mostly likely compatible with any version but damn.I'm installing a ton of mods and when i'm done i will forget about this and this might cause problems for my games.So why not say if it's compatible with the current version but don't update the file itself so it's almost no work at all.In my mods i always write down in change logs and desc with version i tested it on and works.Why not everybody does this is beyond me.So much effort put into the mod and does add this little bit that helps alot.

I am also experiencing fallen empires only having black flags. I believe they still have a secondary color as they appear as non black colors on the empire map however. Primative species that achive spaceflight only have grey flags as well, but I am not sure if your mod is the cause of this. Thank you for your work on this mod!

Can confirm. Fallen empires have no colors in their flag for me too.

There seems to be a bug: Fallen Empires always have just a black flag, with no other colors. Dunno what's causing it; this is the only flag mod I use.

Not sure if it's related to the 1.8 patch or not, and it doesn't prevent it from working, but I'm not seeing a highlight circle during color selection - I'm getting a box that envelops a good portion of the surrounding colors as well.
