I'm not sure what the game does if you run and quit the game (creating a new snapshot) with neither mod enabled - it's possible the entities get deleted. If that's the case, not sure what happens to the contents, they might end up at 0,0,0 world location.
If you're in this situation, you can fix this by reverting to the last snapshot where either mod was enabled.
If you have an example where such skin reuse is done, please share.
This mod doesn't change either, so missing sprites are more likely caused by game bug, corrupt game files or you hitting limits of video memory. Verify game files, and retry with a new server where only this mod is enabled.

Modifying the first 2 numbers should move the widget around - the 0,0 is the centre of the screen, so it is now 200 pixels above the centre.
I haven't considered using normal or "not as big" scale for the other containers, but I'd tend towards "no" to adding another option or using the existing one for this, and "maybe" to changing the scale for the large containers to something smaller, if the size actually obstructs stuff in your base. I don't use the large food preservers, so I wouldn't know.
