I have the mod and it works. But not the addon for the vestal.

The mod isn't working for me

In this mod the author make changes in the BetterStressHeal_base.effects.darkest - file.
But in my case I don´t have this file at all. So this mod can´t working.
I guess you need some or all of the DLC to get this mod working...

Mod seems to be working fine for me ( I don't have the vestal addon installed)

Mod works fine for both me and my partner (might have to mention we do both also have the vestal stress heal one installed)

@ WadeBtw: I tried to get the Author to fix but it works on his end so he dropped it. Best move on the mod is dead in the water for the rest.

Well since most don't play anymore and 4 people since you updated have said it's not working that is a sign it's not working. Like I said no biggie will play without the mod.

Sorry. I can't do more for now because I do the same thing as you do and the mod is working for me.
I need more people telling me if they have the same issue as you to know if the problem is only on your side or it's for everyone after my attempt to fix the mod.

So everyone here has issues and you don't and the mod is fine? I have a clean install of windows 10, Darkest Dungeon and only your mod and it doesn't work. I then add other mods about 10 of them and they all work fine. Oh well time to move on thanks for trying.

You could go C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\XXXXXX\940572153 and check if you have the same files.

I don't use Circus or have it installed.

I don't know where it came from because I didn't have change anything about this mod from a long time and after I split the Vestal changes to a second mod for less mods conflicts it was working fine. Gonna try differents things to make it working again.

I uninstalled the mod and only used your mod and no go. It's still not working.

That's strange because it is working for me. Even If I create a new save and only use Better Stress Heal to be sure there is no mod conflict. Can you try to unsubscribe to the mod to delete the existent folder and subscribe again to create a clean folder of the mod, close the game before doing this and tell me if it's working or not. Thanks.

damn yesterday vestal stress heal safe me arbalest in prothet fight (go fo greed and destroy planks first) she end up 198 stress...and today its disabled ((

So I remove the Vestal changes because a lot of mods wasn't anymore compatible with this one because it modifiy directly vestal.info.darkest and it will be more a mod that just increase Vanilla values and don't add more effect to other heroes.

I don't know if it's OP or not, but quite often just receiving wounds grant stress(not to mention crit blows, which happen quite often, and grant 10+ stress to 3 or all 4 characters...), and just a single stress-inducing attack, can grant up to 20-30 stress, so I think it's only fair Vestal's heal should heal at least a bit of stress...

Great mod but i think Vestal is overpowered with the stress heal. You can end a long champion level dungeon with 0 stress and without camping (!!!) with no stress healers.

i just want to know what lines of code did you edit? and how, i figured out how to improve the healing power of some abilities but not add stress heal

can you increase the heal even more? like this is just too low especially for later on

I was able to fix it by reinstalling the game, not sure what caused my problem but i can use the mod again. what a journey haha

Well I cannot say if it come from this mod. You can eventually try to reinstall the game maybe.

yep. i've got it enabled. but now i suspect the problem runs deeper as whenever i complete a mission the game crashes to desktop.

Oh my comment was towards @bevansDesign. Saying stress heals weren’t worth it in the base game.

This mod as is is fine.

Yeah sure it's more a mod to make the game more easy, but when i made it there was when the first DLC wasn't out and stress mechanic was different, so I just keep the original idea and make every stress spells more powerfull.

Stress healing is something worth using even without this mod.

I really like this mod. It makes stress healing into something that's actually worth using.

I do have one issue though. I think you should remove the changes to the Vestal. She's already quite overpowered as a healer, and having stress-healing added to her heals makes her WAY overpowered.

Maybe you could add stress-healing to one of her less-useful abilities instead, like Hand of Light. And I certainly wouldn't mind if you added it to some other classes where it makes sense.

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Still enjoying your mod in 2019. For people who want to use this + unchained. See page 3-4 for the mediafire file.

Then go to STEAM\steamapps\workshop\content\262060 and copy/paste the new folders and overwrite all existing files.

Update: this doesn't work when u use the 'unchained all in one' mod...

So I don't know how to get both working, since the unchained 'all in one' mod is updated to work with the COM DLC, I'll have to give this one up

Setting this mod as first in the load order overrides the changes made to the heroes in the 'unchained' series.
Update: I see you've fixed this in a patch.
