honestly its just that it would allow me more freedom to use this in conjunction with other mods and i can say that i am not the only one who would appreciate a nexus upload. I honestly just dont like using steam, its not reliable and i had a lot of problems trying to mod until i got NMM, now its a lot easier to use, and im attempting to get rid of all my subbed mods on steam so i can use them with NMM, but a few authors dont want to upload to nexus, and those are the mods that i like the most, yours included. I can understand your reasons, but i would please request that you reconsider.

i would have to say youre probably correct, but its more that the NMM offers me more to use than the plain steam organizer.

I put it on the Steam workshop first because that's where legitimate users of the game are located. Adding it to another service represents additional effort while serving potentially piracy-oriented purpose, which I have no intention of encouraging.

I use the Steam Workshop mod manager and have experienced no problems. Are these "horrifically broken" issues exclusively a result of trying to use Steam Workshop in conjunction with Nexus Mod Manager?

the steam workshop is horrifically broken with mods and myself and others like to use the nexus mod manager and mod organizer. its just much easier than using steam because of issues.

and to be fair, on the topic of pirated copies from others, i dont see what youre hoping to gain by puttin git on the workshop? you can have a donate button on the nexus as well if thats your style :/

So far I haven't heard a compelling argument of why I should put it on Nexus, and the only reason I can think of that people prefer it on Nexus is that they can use the mod on pirated copies of the game. Since I gain nothing by helping pirates, I haven't seen why it should be worth my time to add the mod there. However, if there are other compelling reasons you want it on there, I'd love to be educated.

I would not know how to alter their AI to convince them to use it on you! I know there are follower mods that permit you to teach followers spells by giving them books, so this mod should be compatible with those, but altering the AI is probably beyond my skills!

It would be awesome if we could ____"teach"____ followers these spells like in a mod from Oblivion. You would have a follower with different abilities and combat skills and you could change your combat style.

I want a follower that does this.

undead healing spells for those that conjure the undead or just wanna heal serana. thats my only suggestion a undead heal beam. or better yet something that heals the dwarven machines and so on. Otherwise ggod job.

Noticed this in your signature. Considering I'm currently playing a character who stays out of combat as much as possible, delegating the violence to Lydia and Casteo, this is amazing. Especially because I'm using AFT's option to disable bleedout recovery while in combat. So, when they go down, they stay down (which bad for me). Thank you for these.

I do wish it was available on the nexus (or anywhere that I could download the zip instead of letting skyrim handle it), but I'll survive, I'm sure lol.

instead shrine maidens use prayer, chant and ceremony as their spiritual medium

i guess it would be a healer/Bard/mystic combianation only without the music part of the bard

bards boost stats and weaken enemies
healers heal wounds of allies and self
and mystics use a combination of spells like armor spells and clairvoyance type things and detect life and death and stuff like that

it is a specialization support class but it is a very under used class as well

i just now stumbled upon this mod and add the miko armor mod with this and i can make a pretty good shrine maiden class character use illusion for temperary stat boosts with these spells i use all of the above along with my custom stat boost spells seeing as a shrine maiden is a support/healer class

Thanks for thinking about it. I think the best use of it would be on the similar spells in your "on Other" categories and if it were me using them, I would probably either add another 50% to the "investment" for casting a spell "on Other" or even a full 100% (double the "on Self" ivestement).

As it is tho, I think it all works quite well even without invested magic since the investment is mainly on yourself and who would WANT to invest their max mana in another person? Even if they WERE a helper :)

This is GREAT! I have been wanting to play a "pure support" character for a while now... only one thing, is there any way you could make a version of this with Invested Magic versions of the spells that might be invested?

I understand that it might be too difficult but I use Invested Magic mod and would totally love this mod with invested magic support!

This mod is designed to feel like a natural part of the game's normal progression, with all the rewards of finding or buying a new cool spell as your character grows stronger. If you want to cheat them all into your inventory, that's your call.

some free advice, but not everyone wants to guess how to get your spells, you need to doo one make a - how to get spells- description and add a cheat chest in say the roof of the collage of winterhold so we can get all the books easy

The newest patch from Bethesda has fixed an issue with some master spell vendors not selling their spells properly. Also, we now have over 210 subscribers to this mod! I hope you are all enjoying it.

It could be a mod conflic because she doesn't sell the other master spells either. But it's just Restoration.

I believe I have seen them for sale from Colette, as long as you have done her quest. Is this just Restoration spells or is it all of the Master Spells? I apologize for the problem, I will consider this a bug and look into it.

Are there item codes for the books? I am at 100 restoration and still the master books are not for sale.

Fixed a couple bugs and added some screenshots.
Yues, you could even cast big blasting spells with one hand and Ward your ally from those very spells with the other!

:D No more followers getting in the way of my spells! This means I can can just buff them then sit back and watch the carnage, hehe.

The spells can be found at spell vendors just like any other spell. Just like vanilla, the weaker spells can be found at general spell vendors in each hold, and the advanced spells can only be found at the college of Winterhold. Spells may also appear as loot with the same frequency as vanilla spells.

There is currently no AI scripting in this mod that would allow followers to cast the spells on you intelligently.
