PLEASE NOTE: I have had difficulties in the past with making Package Survival Meals with modded ingredients that pawns will eat while on caravan. The ones made with modded ingredients were listed as not offering any nutrition at all while on caravan.

Please reserve vanilla ingredients, such as rice, corn, potatoes, beef, chicken, pork, etc to make those meals, while using mostly modded ingredients for the regular meals that they eat while at home in the colony.

@Bruclez you need to research it first before you can plant it, similar to Devilstrand, trees and chocolate, if that helps. If you're running something like SeedsPlease you'll need the seeds for them too, otherwise then you can start to grow them. Also, the mod still works, despite the version incompatibility warnings. You can simply make a local copy of this and edit it out by saying it works for 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 whenever that comes out.

I can't find this in the selection of plants. Does anyone have the same issues?

you could manually edit it, you have to go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100 (or whever your steam is installed)

then find the folder that contains synthmeat, then go to Defs folder, then edit the values

Hey, I was wondering if you could add in some sort of config to balance it? Just something like lower yield or a slower grow rate? Or can exclusively grow in hydroponics tables cause its like a synthetic meat. I love the mod and used it to all hell in b18 but it just ends up killing the point of hunting. Thanks!

do i need a new colony to take advantage of this. I live in a frozen wasteland so getting enough meat for fine meals doesnt work
