i have a reason to belive that this planet used to be the vortigaunt homeworld due to that the description sayd that there used to be "semi-sentient species which were a prime slave-target for the Combine Emprie" and "Antlion or of atleast similar species" and since according to the recent half life lore vortigaunts and antlions lived in the same homeworld. but i though that might not be true due to that it also said something about a "main city of Oulara is URB-LOC-4938-1, once a Mega City that spanned for miles and miles" and all we saw about the vortigaunts living places are dens and caves so i guess im wrong, they probably lived in the stone age but with giant bugs that has an artifact that could inhance their abilities before they discovered the vortessence, (sorry for turning my entire commne tinto an essay, i was just making a debate).

I'm mainly focusing on the DIM-LOC-2532 series when it comes to these type of maps, which is a xen type of map instead of an original inter-dimensional plane. Hopefully in the future i'll be able to promise up to the ideas that have been listed previously and add another to the DIM-LOC-???? series.

I guess, but Half Life still plays around with the fact of Inter-dimensional travel. Most things are probably not canon within how it structures things, maybe the Combine are beyond on what we speculate? Could they be the inevitable monopoly to dominate?

the idea of a multiverse in half life trips me up a little bit.

I mean, if there is an infinite amount of parallel universes, there is an infinite amount of universes that are controled by alternate combines or rebels etc... all of wich are different from each other by varying degress, therefore not only does it make no sense to want to control the entire multiverse since it is impossible, but also, each dimension should be invaded by an infinite amout of invaders from an infinite number of other dimensions since it is apparently possible to travel from one dimension to another.

Oh and in one and a lot more of all of these dimensions, there is a race that created a device to destroy the entire multiverse instantaniously, and it triggerd it, wich destroyed the entire multiverse. WICH MAKES NO DAMN SENSE since the half life universe is still there!!!

Do you get why I dont like the idea of a multiverse?
