I haven't been able to use this mod, there is no dialogue options shown, however, this could just be a problem with the smiths of Whiterun and Rorikstead.

Does this still work? Shared inventory seems to be eating all items put into it.

Restarted Steam again. Got the dialog option to rent the chest.

Great mod idea! Is anyone else having trouble getting the blacksmith at Whiterun to provide the dialog to rent the chest? Chest indicates that it cannot be unlocked without a key, but she does not offer to rent it to me.

can you add it so gems also get put into the chests please.

i dont like to read but can ncp or blacksmiths get in the chest i store most of my stuff in riverwood in the inn just asking.

I'm not familiar with that mod, but I wouldn't really expect another mod to interfere with this mod unless it alters the blacksmiths or the location where the chests were placed.

Does Codifreds Enhanced Smithing interfere with this? I've unsubscribed and resubscribed multiple times and still had to use the unlock cheat and the shared inventory steals my items.

Hey Kryptopry, great idea. I've subscribed and it's loaded - I can see and interact with the chests but so far I don't have access to the dialogue option to rent the chests. I will unsub and resub, hopefully it fixes.

I was thinking i was going to have to tell you that ( Complete Skyforge Mod ) had added a chest but that was you Thanks Kryptopyr with your chest and my Breezehome mods i now have a complete setup with everything i need. Like i said before YOUR chest has made game Thank again.

Actually, I've been meaning to update this mod with that exact change; I just keep forgetting to do it. I've even made the changes already... I added a chest to the Skyforge, as well as to Riverwood (which was another request). I'll sit down this afternoon or evening and upload the new version. Thanks for reminding me about this. Oh, and I looked at Complete Skyforge, and I think the location I chose for the chest will work just fine with that mod.

Sorry i forgot to tell you i have a mod called ( Complete Skyforge ) so if you do want too add a chest you mite want to look up this mod for the placement for your chest once more Thank for the mod .

I was just wondering if you would be able to add a chest at the skyforge as so many weapon and armor mod now say only at the (skyforge) this is just a requast as i have no way of knowing how hard this is for you to do but if it would be posable you would have made my game !!! Okay, I guess that works. I generally try not to console command unless I need too. Was hoping there would be a way to revive Adrianne but I can't even find her dead body when I do the moveto.

You can use the console to access it. Just open the console, then click on the chest you want to use, and type "unlock". That should give you access to the chest. The ownership is already set to the player.

Help! I really want this mod to work as I'm always like 150lbs overweight with all my ores and what not, but Adrianna is dead in Whiterun! I don't remember when she died but she is. Is there any other way to get into the chest in whiterun, since I spend almost all my smithing time there?

I agree with you. I can't imagine a smelter in my basement. Good idea, thumbs up.

It's on the far side of the forge, up against the wall. I threw up an additional screenshot that shows it.

I was just wondering where your chest in whiterun was located as I also have a mod 'Smithing Supplies' with a chest located in Whiterun and I wouldn't want them to conflict.
