Same. Set up a bunch of Fish farms in an Archipelago, and the general lack of concentrated land area, combined with the lack of easy-to-use, consistent, power sources is killing me. Geothermal vents are great, but they're always in the most inconvenient spots.

A year later and I'm still sad that this never got an update or even a replacement by somebody else doing a similar thing. Playing seaside or archipelago colonies without this always feels so off.

Should we just assume that the mod is not receiving a B19 update? No word at all so far. Didn't want to pester or anything, but I mostly just want to know so I can check this off the list or not.

Any word on if an update to this is forthcoming? I use this mod like crazy on all of my coastal and river colonies and would hate to leave it behind in the move to B19.

when used with nature's pretty sweet mod, when the rivers freeze over, when they unfreeze the water turbines won't turn back on. Have to save and reload to get them to work. Would be nice to have some support

my error is that i cant build water turbines. not in low or deep floatin water as in the last version of rim. dont get it how i can fix this. right now i cant use that mod -.-

I built a water turbine in a world running Nature's pretty sweet. Every time the river freezes, it stops, which makes sense. However, when the river melts, it remains stuck at 0W. No damage has occurred to the unit but it is useless.

The tital power plant with lots of turbines (9) gets my game to lag when the tidal plant is on the screen. I assume it is all the additional turbines spinning like crazy. Or maybe it is something else. But just the tidal plant itself is ok... when i add all the turbines its ok still.. but once the turbines are finished, it starts lagging.

Conflicts with Androids by forcing you to place the android producers on water. The mod works perfectly after uninstalling this one

Had the same issue Glαumy is having, the frozen water didn't overlap the turbine at all, but even once all the ice thawed the turbine just sits at 0 Watts

Good day! I just had a cold snap, which turned off my water turbine because of the frozen water. Sadly, it did not turn on again. Is there a way to kickstart the turbine? :P

@swenzi i cant build the water tubine anymore in floating water at a18. it doesnt care if its deep or not. the terraian is just unstable to build it. the mod hat no problems on 17. i dont know whats going on

Load a mod order that is known to cause the bug, then try removing Building_Base.xml from this mod. I'm shooting blind, but maybe that ThingDef causes the bug by the def not having the <thingClass> element. It's an abstract ThingDef, and is redefined unnecessarily in a lot of mods.

As this doesn't happen (on my side) if the mod is run by itself, I'm assuming there's a mod incompatability somewhere.

o i don't know it just sort of "changes all the other mods" things like chairs, tables, and rugs. mostly.

Ok than, the patch isn't necessary anymore with the latest update. However I can't find the mod that's causing Water Power to bug out (am 90% certain it isn't Basic Bridges or Veggie Garden).

i don't use the patch because im not concerned about simply removing error messages (unless i need to use it to make things work?)

sadly i am going to have to leave this mod alone. I started a brand new colony on a beach hoping to use water for power but the game keeps glitching stuff so furniture only works on water, no matter how i do the load order.

this mod is causing so many conflicts. does it do something that changes the way wood works? because a lot of my buildings have the "build only on water property" when they are tables, drawers, or chairs....

Is anyone having a problem with the lighthouses disappear after they have been built? I've built two in the exact same spot, watch it work less than a summer and then it just disappeared.

hey so I moved the load order of this only to find out that now its causeing the same error as before. This time however its effecting Tribal Smoke Signals http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1119881680&searchtext=tribal making it so that its trade becon can only be places on water tiles. Please fix this glitch as its happening with multiple mods. Its obviously a problem with how this mod decides what is a water placable!

Vehicles is before SAS, USMC, and Spetnaz those are all before Umbra and all of that is after water power. So I dont get how load order is the issue as the glitch is effecting Vehicle work bench but not SAS, USMC, Spetnaz but is effecting Umbra. Like its skips ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the 3 things inbetween all that but will mess with just random ♥♥♥♥ in the load order! So water power, then vehicles which has the glitch, then SAS Spetnaz and USMC no glitch, then Umbra which has the glitch. Explain that somebody please also Umbra is made by the same guy who does USMC, SAS, and Spetnaz so why would his other benches be effected to.

For me I can only place EPOE work benches, Umbra Armor work bench and mecanite forge in marsh lands or water tiles. THANKS! I was looking forward to this now tho not so much. Conflict are to be expected but EPOE is so importent to have oin your load order I cant justfy having something that breaks it like your mod.
