This looks pretty cool!
But it does not have to take place on that map right? I mean.. I can play the civs on normal maps as well? :D

haha, no. You can subscribe to the map and Ocean: Not Impassable, but the three civs, you will have to choose between. Chose the red one if you only have Gods and Kings........But if you have Gods and Kings and Brave New World, then you can choose between one of the 2 white ones.........Pirate Pro Civ only allows you build Tortuga, then you must claim other cities, as you cannot build settlers............while the Pirate Civilization plays normally.
