Doesnt seem to work anymore. Theres another mod more recently updated Go for that one

Some of the hints are wrong... I came by the black box luggage thing from Weald and it has a wrong hint. Some curios are also missing hints.

Awesome mod! It's a little genius in implementation as the hint for each curio is so unobtrusive and yet obvious and clear when you know to look for it.
It does work in 2023. Make sure when selecting your save that you go into that saves mod list (blue icon to the right of the save) and put a checkmark on the mods you want to activate.

Could really use an update to lost luggage at least. But if what the previous poster says is true it looks like it'll have to be a new mod. This is still a great mod for beginners to have to avoid needing to look up each curio constantly.

My guess is that he took this mod from nexus mod and posted here he dosent know how to do mods.

Unless the original modder updates in nexus mod community this guy won,t do anything.

@francisco_a51 The character using it doesn't matter in the success or failure of the curio, it only boils down to who needs the stress heals, neg quirks removed, and such. This mod, though if the comments before me are to be believed it's currently outdated, just puts a small icon of the item needed to get the best success from the curio. Gamepedia's Darkest Dungeon wiki has a current-ish list with their effects based and where you'll find each curio on it's site and I use it often to help me make the best choice for each curio.

Question, how does that work? I mean, how do I know which character would be the best to interact with a curio?

Outdated. Left Luggage shows key and shovel, but Left Luggage is key or antivenom.

Its a very nice idea, but wouldnt it be smarter to just put somewhere near the sprite of untouched curio a bright icon with a high-contrast contour of item that is required? That'd just be easier to see.

Some curios like the cabinet can take a shovel or key. I think the key is better. Does this mod show both?

There's a little mistake with Left Luggage, it says you need a shovel while you need a key. It's in the Weald area.

PBD mod reworked all the curio interactions so the hints will not show you the truth. For example holy water + stack of skulls. You don't want to test it for the first time.

I don't have Pitch Black Dungeon, so I don't know, but if the Pitch Black Dungeon author has changed the art style of the game, then it's likely that his curios art will not be compatible with this mod.

You should be able to tell by looking in the Steam/SteamApps/Workshop/Content/262060/ folder. This mod is number 929763488 and modifies just the .png files in the mod's props/shared/curios folder; check if the Pitch Black Dungeon mod also includes modified files in its props/shared/curios folder.

It should work with saved games; it just changes a bunch of graphics .png files and not any of the game data.
