I still remember that week that this worked correctly and didn't break everyones savegames.

Might be related to the fact that the road asset editor was published shortly after this mod, Chaos/Holy Water/Drok (however you'd like to be called. Please let me know which name is preferred).

Road editor allows us to make roads without being dependent on mods like this or next2. Nowadays we even have great mods like RON that can replace next2 roads with asset versions of them even if the next2 is broken or not present

Sorry bud, I rather use seperate asset then some old mods or sneaky mods. This mod is from 2017. Even if it's still work, if there is a problem, there will be no fixed as the creator is already offline.
Also it may work for you, at least with NE3 in your own field, but it does not Guarantee work with other player as they already report this problem, a lot!

Why is this "incompatible" ?

This mod works fine for me, at least with NE3 v1.0.2. I have not tried it before.

Last night I found the game stuck with same repetitive error message:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException] Details: No details",
then I found I cannot remove the mod "New Roads for Network Extension 2" in my saved games.

What should I do?

I like the roads, but have no use for "no zone" roads. Let me know when you fix that.

Hey gents, this mod is pretty much deprecated at this point. This interferes with the Parklife DLC and causes zoning to not be usable.

some of the coolest roads on the workshop but completely usless lately cause of the zoning bug, hope someone has a chance to fix this soon so we can enjoy these awesome additions to an awesome game ^..^

Few days ago I was not able to zone any more, by disabling this mod I was again able to zone, plz fix the zoning issue

the funny things is, I have used some of THESE roads and they worked...just a few days ago. Today I open my game and there is no grid on new road but THESE roads I have build still have grid.
