These gemstone skins look great, but i feel like you could A) take into consideration the gemstone cleavage, the easiest planes that the gemstones separate at, and B) make the mesh finer.

The pattern and color reminds me of certain worlds from Ur-Quan Masters. :conwayshrug::emofdr:

@Firebert Typically obsidian is black, but very rarely it can be other colors. I settled on purple because a pure black skin wouldn't have looked as striking IMO. I can try a more black skin and upload it.
