the fix for the riposte sound effect is easy. Just go into: Steam/Steamapps/workshop/content/262060/927374978

The last series of numbers is the number for this mod. Go there, then into Heroes, then into the art file, and near the bottom you'll see this:

riposte_skill: .id "riposte1" .anim "attack_sword" .fx "riposte" .targchestfx "blood_splatter"

You need to change the

.fx "riposte"

into

.fx "smite"

that should fix it. DD1 is incredibly moddable. I haven't tested it out yet, but this should work... unsure how many people will be reading this in 2025, though xd

the only thing what i would love to change is that the ripsote duration would go up for 1 turn because u either need to spam bullwark of faith or u dont use it at all :/

Ah, hell. Was hoping the lack of riposte sound was an issue of load order or some bs on my part.

If it hasn't been patched in by now, likely isn't happening :stress:

Is there a way to add a riposte sound effect on counter? Heard it alot from highwayman and this missing sound effect is pretty offsetting.

So is this mod now updated for things like the 2019 verisons from the other guy?

I just dont know which one is more up to date/should be used?

I just got back into playing DD after a 6 month of not playing.
I remember base classes a have a few abilities either not worth it/too weak, and I know these class revamp mods fixed that.

@XxX_thotdestroyer42bigboy_XxX you have to activate them in the mod menu. There should a a box next to each mod and when you click it, a tick will appear in the box

Would it be possible for you to make a all in one mod with all the class changes together. I would like to add more class and cosmetic mods to my collection but i keep hitting the mod cap. A all in one mod would free up alot of room. In my opinion your mods are essential. Thanks for your fine service!!!

Awsome mode, lovely work with all these unchained heroes. Only one thing is bugging me though - the skill Bullwark in fact activates Riposte only for one round (well, it theory, it does for 2, but given that this is immediately lowered to 1 at the end of his turn, it really takes effect for one round only, making it kindoff impractical). The same goes for Man at Arms' riposte with Guar ally. I assume it was intended to last 2 rounds, but the way game manages it makes it only one, which is shame.

Like I mentioned at "Man at Arms Unchained" the Bullwark move only last one round. Other than that it's awesome. :rufusjoking:

I have been using your mod and I have checked that the protection of the crusader and the other mercenaries wearing heavy armor does not raise the protection you mention, could you please check

Hey guys I have updated the mod and it should now work properly with the new Color of Madness DLC. I am sorry you had to wait but I haven't even tried the DLC myself yet :steamhappy:

If it doesn't work try to unsubscribe, restart steam, and then subscribe again.
If you have an in-game issue after you've done that, leave a comment.

I did not add the new abilties and stats changes from the DLC (except for the new buff you get when you crit) and I do not plan to add them anytime soon. If you want to make these changes feel free to use the files from this mod and upload your version (just put my nickname somewhere). I can also update this mod with your modifications, your work will of course be credited.
