Tbh you could replace the Desert tiles with Plains/Mountains, I live here and believe me Plains look more realistic lol. Regardless, thanks for making an accurately-shaped map of Greece; I've always wanted to play as Alexander on those Earth maps but I've always been let down by how inaccurate Greece looks on them. (To be fair, Greece has such a weird shape and it would be hard to get it right on giant Earth maps. But still. ;A;)

maybe the creator just used deserts to represent those carstlands unusable for agriculture that are not real deserts but quite dry and rocky and only usuable for goat and sheepherding (only know them from croatias coast but still)

LOL you certainly never. Greece mainland is mountainous forestrial. Central Aegean islands only are rocky.
