This and Vanilla Weapon Tweaks were my go to mods that were way more fun than Combat Extended, IMO.

@UndeadKitten - they mostly change completely different things, so yeah. Better Chain Shotgun and Deadly Vanilla Weapon Tweaks may conflict with eachother, but there won't be any errors.

Do these 3 of your mods; Quality Cooldown, Better Chain Shotgun and Shooting Skill Enhanced work with Deadly Vanilla Weapon Tweaks and RT's Weapon Pack?

Or more specifically, do the effects of your mods apply to those 2 mods?

@Rev Nope, modded weapons are affected too since this modifies the cooldown StatDef itself.

Am I correct to assume this affects modded weapons aswell? I'm currently running with the Vanilla Friendly Weapon pack and Weapon Tech, and hoping to add this mod this mod without the modded weapons being left out of the new calculations.

can you make a version wiht more, "extreme values"? such as, even better quality modifier for legendary weapons but even worst quality modifier for awful weapons, like 150% for awful ranged weapons and 75~85% for legendary quality ranged weapons.

@Silverlining This can slightly enhance vanilla DPS when above normal quality, but also make it worse below normal. Normal of course being the same as vanilla.

Cooldown slowly gets worse when below 90% health for ranged weapons, and quickly gets much worse when below 30%. Melee weapons aren't affected by condition though, only quality.

So, can this enhance DPS beyond whats possible in vanilla? or is the max the vanilla performance and degrades when it is bad quality/health?

@Harley_Thor Quality (the prefix) matters for melee, but quality and health both matter for ranged. IIRC any ranged weapon below 90% health starts to slow down in terms of cooldown, but it kicks in relatively mildly until below 30%, which is when it kicks in hard.

Nope. It globally affects warmup and cooldown for ranged and melee, so modded weapons too get affected by this.

Yeah, I intended for this to be subtle, as opposed to really out there - because that *would* be OP, and I try to avoid going in that direction. CD is affected more on ranged than melee as ranged quality normally affects accuracy, whereas melee quality directly affects damage too.

This actually seems pretty cool, but as always I'm slightly concerned about balance >.>
I do feel that quality doens't make enough of a difference, espeically with rapid fire guns like you said, maybe not a big deal.
