There is a river that runs through Lisbon into the middle of the Iberian, and there is no desert in north *Prepares to yell portugal in a cheerfull way* PORTUGAL!!!!!!!!

ok, I'm from Spain and WTF ... why desert? why there are no rivers? and to say that this year both in Spain rained almost all the rivers overflowed and usually starting in November all the mountains are covered in snow, perhaps that's typical in the deserts? hahahaha
Sorry for my bad English

therefore, when trying to highlight the heat in spain, it should be more focused, particularly on the city of sevilla, huelva etc, spain in a not a arrid desert as your trying to show (ie highlighting spain as erronously hot...greece is hot pretty much all year round, spain is not). you could show central spain as being cooler which is keeping with the realism. also adding in rivers, and drawing the map better would be much appreciated. other than getting spain's climate completely wrong which is easily done when places such as sevilla hit 48/50 in the shade is an easy mistake to make...but more importantly spain is no arid desert

to summarize, southern spain (andalusia exclusing cadiz which is atlantic maritime), including canaries is sub tropical. Places further north are a lot cooler than the exceptional 50C places like sevilla to the south, and have a warm continental summer, and cold, wet winters.

point of note, andalusia is not a true sub tropical climate, because it does not maintain the minimum average temperature to do so. Remember much of the sierra's can reach very cold temperatures, even during the middle of summer. Sierra Nevada is one such location but one of many places.
just a thought

try almeria , you want desert, its the driest place on the iberia peninsula. When you mention hot, do not confuse the hottest place in europe (sevilla), reality is it's climate is not sub tropical, unless your talking about andalusia specifically. The rest of spain has a dry continental climate. In the summer it reaches 25/30 throughout mainland spain, during the winter it can reach below freezing in many places particularly madrid.

The only sand in Portugal is the sand in the beachs. Might want to fix that aswell as put some rivers there. Besides that the shape is really good.

Where is the rivers? At least Tajo, Ebro, Duero, Guadiana and Guadalquivir.

Too much desert and too little hills. Nice work.

Why all the desert man?

I would say that portugal is actually way too deserty aswell, there is hardly any desert IRL in portugal aswell ;). Btw, portugal and spain are the Iberian Peninsula, might want to use that as the name :)

Thank you for the comment: your are right, but I wanted to make spain different, illustrating the hot climate!
