After more testing, the best way to keep the remote control from making the ship accelerate and sprial away. is to set the speed limit to 0 from 100.

Though, if you do make sure that you turn off the drone remote control once they are connected, otherwise the Endurance will spiral out of control during a battle.

After attaching 1 drone, it seems that the main turret still fired at a mining ship that i had transferred to the Space Pirates.

Just checked this ship again, great to see the turret working. It's firepower makes it very useful and the ship is still good in pvp.

@k_medlock I agree that it isn't ideal, but it works well for pvp combat, making it so that people can maneuver without worrying about their aim. Just a suggestion tho, it's up to the Alpha Orionis design department to decide

@The Qube Problem is once the designator turret gets taken down the gun battery won't work anymore. That is why i would opt more towards the MART script.

The previous script was really good in the way it could both be aimed and shoot targets on its own, but if it can't be recreated, sure

The drones aren't too bad because if you see an enemy ship you could disengage the drones early and start attacking with the drones from a long range and by the time the enemy is close enough for the turret you probably already used all the drones, if not just turn off connectors and fly up. But I'd add a part in the description about this so others know.

And with the gravity alignment script it makes sense to put a planetary bombardment system or just a small hanger for a fighter.

I don't know how to script but I played around and it allowed the turret to fire even if the drones are there but it would continue firing at a slower rof even when the designator is not shooting. The script I messed with was in the programming block called sequencer.

Just informing you, if the drones are connected then the large turret will not fire.

@Supercx2 There are decoys inside the ship's hull somewhere, where they are of small importance, so that the ship does not get damaged in important areas. The decoys can weld themselves up, if the ship is in combat mode.

What do the decoys consist of, when I hear decoy I think of a few blocks being made and released from the ship. I just want to know what the decoy system on this ship is.

@Cthulhu Okay so I know what is causing the problem and have a workaround. The drones that are docked with the Endurance cause the rotor turret to not fire its rockets. If you undock the drones however the rotor turret fires like nothing has happened.

Yeah. I'm aiming with the designator and the turret follows my reticle, but when I shoot nothing happens.

I've been following you for quite some time, and this is yet another quality design coming from ACI, good job. The onIy issue is the turret, which doesn't work properly for me. It moves, but doesn't fire.

Nice build as always, intresting how you went for more square outcroppings, as some of your earlier ACI ships had more rounded outcroppings. Nice to see you putting up ships that look great and are rather functional, keep up the good work!
