But thank you for the answer, awesome Mod, i love it! :3
I would like to adjust the Level when this unlocks, that would be great :)
1.: Changing the slot count doesn't work at all. It works with 300 slots, no matter how much more the value is set (but still showing the correct amount in the description).
2.: Meat only spoils if you access its inventory. Until then, there's de facto the normal meat in there you just have put in.
3.: Along with 2., we get a problem if we increase the stack size (vanilla, no mod) to a critical point. I have a stack size of 1,000 each raw/spoiled meat, so pulling in its inventory all available meat will have a "network failure" as a consequence (which might be due to vanilla mechanics if you access/craft just too many stacks at once). This could be circumvented by instantly converting raw/cooked meat into spoiled if just put in its inventory, not only after access it.
What a pity, it seems to be the only mod that could instantly craft meat with a very high spoiler time into its spoiled counterpart.
However, I'm just sinking teeth into the dev kit, is there not none explicit way of setting what can spoil in the bin? Maybe having anything that has a spoil timer that goes in the bin will simply "Speed" up the timer faster of the spoil.
Also, it would be nice to have engrams in the bin. It's not possible to pull anything without an engram or at least one piece of anything in its inventory.
I just built a new spoiling bin and placed it. Still it shows an inventory size via front description of "0/15". Accessing the inventory is not sufficient; the bin has to be used (-> spoil some meat you put in) to change the shown value correct to "0/500". Just tested that it doesn't matter if you leave the area and come back for a change.
The display for slot count might be a little bug to look at. If you pickup then place the box after changes the number of slots, does it show the right amount?
Having set inventory size to 500, it still shows in the description when you look at the box that it would have 15 slots only.
Additionally, sometimes the description text while looking at the bin shows the standard 15 slots. A server restart later, the text is shown normally (0/500).
Read the description:
What's not in the list doesn't spoil, eg. berries. You cannot put them into inventory anyway. But you can put spoiled meat in for conserving purposes.
Anyway, awesome mod! Thanks for this!
The neat vulture is really cool!

and restarted, there are 15 slots now. Sorry, not sure exactly where your problem is
