Groostav i applaud your effort. i would recommend you to use Extended Asset Editor mod for more control over an asset (especially train assets), which includes reversing car orientation. make sure that you save the asset via the EAE menu, not the vanilla game menu.

So I really wanted a 6-car version of this train since im using 100% retracked train stations that will fit a 6 car train without issue. I opened it in the asset editor, but the last car is facing the wrong direction. Any idea how I can make the train longer and still keep all the cars facing the right way?

Why the asset in Categories has no thumbnail? (Basis workshop thumbnail)

@Aminushki the bug you saying it nothing to do with this asset, the problem is on "Improve public transport 2" it self. In order not to make the number go crazy, you should not delete the number completely, if you do it, the new number you type in will change the other, after 1 years the creater of "improve public transport 2" still not fix it.

can you fix the passenger count? If I use a mod like ipt2 to change either the pax number or the maintenance cost, the values go crazy. Using ipt, the pax value is 4x whatever I enter, and the maintenance cost becomes 2x whatever you entered for pax value. In advanced vehicle manager, the pax value is always 1560 + the entered value if you dont replace the last car with engine ( then it is 1040 + whatever you enter). This is the only metro i have seen this problem with. I think it is because most metros on the workshop have their separate trailers with X pax and the total pax is the amount of cars times X. Your metro only counts as 1, so since 4 cars, your 520 pax will change to 2080.

Please fix, a metro like this wouldnt have 520 pax seats (The real spec sheet says the capacity of this train seated + standees is 292 + 64 = 356

@Hofriendly @tmaekler Sorry for taking so long to fix this issue but I've just updated the train with a proper LOD so that the train won't disappear from the distance. I hope that the train won't disappear this time. Thanks!

In "Advanced Vehicle Manager" some of the train cars are still shown in the train tab; and when the metro drives on into the distance, the model disappears on the tracks. If you follow it with the camera it shows up again - so it is just the 3d model which at some distance goes into "hiding".

I don't know why this train is very slow and could not see the information when I click on the train...

why is it now slower than my other trains?

@chocolate You can use the train version and convert the train into a metro using Train & Train Stations Converter if you want a proper lighting.

If only it had proper lighthing though, the train design is so beautiful.

@kyle.oelrich I chaged the roof to light grey/silver (turns out I got it wrong all this time. Instead of silver, I painted it dark grey) . I modified the mesh a bit (the roof will no longer casts soft and uneven shadow) . Lastly, I changed the asset name from "MKIII - SKY" to "MKIIIMETRO_SKYTRAIN" just to make it easier to find. I hope that you find this version better than the previous one. Cheers!

Hey i just noticed you updated this mod what did you update on it

Unfortunatly it doesn't work with IPT, setting your own prices causes the passenger count to skyrocket to 2070 something when you hit apply... and the maintanence cost jumps to $138.70...

@RetroTyger I made 2 version of this train, one for default train, and the other one is for metro overhaul. However, the name displayed in the game is MKIII_SKYTRAIN

@alborzka The front car is listed as "Metro". Whereas the middle car and rear car listed as "Trailer"... the one that has the train icon

Only the first car shows up in Advanced Vehicle Options, which means I can't change the capacity of the other cars :(

@JB_24 No, I don't think that it's the limitation in the game since I've seen many metro asset have all the cars light up. But I'm still trying solve this problem. I will update this asset if I found way to get them all light up. Anyway, thanks for the feedback, appreciate it

Some of these exist on the workshop (S Stock for instance which is awful), but let me know what you think anyway
